New Features and Enhancements
1. VMware Virtual Machine Ingestion with Host Relationship Mapping
Enhanced the IT Visibility–ServiceNow integration to ingest VMware virtual machine instance(VM) data, including associated host and guest details. This enhancement enables accurate CMDB classification while preserving complete virtualization context.
The solution utilizes IT Visibility–exported datasets to establish and maintain VM-to-Host and VM-to-Guest relationships in accordance with ServiceNow CMDB standards.
2.Business Services Configuration Hidden from UI
Implemented changes to hide the Business Services configuration from the ServiceNow user interface to discourage further use of this functionality.
This update does not impact existing customer configurations or backend processes, ensuring continued support and operational continuity.
3.InventoryAgent Support for Private ServiceNow Hardware Inventory Dataset
Added support for ingesting the InventoryAgent attribute from the servicenow_hardware_inventory private dataset used by the ServiceNow Scoped App 1.x.
The attribute is now imported into the Hardware Inventory Import staging table in ServiceNow, enabling improved inventory source tracking and reporting.

Resolved Incorrect Software Model–Publisher Mapping
Fixed an issue where incorrect mappings were being created between Software Models and Publishers in the ServiceNow Software Model table during Flexera data transformations.
The root cause was identified in the Software Model transform map, where the Publisher field mapping was incorrectly configured to use the Manufacturer field as the source value instead of the Manufacturer ID field. This resulted in inaccurate Publisher lookups and associations.
